I LOVE how this wedding dress doesn't scream "WEDDING". This dress above would be perfect, especially for a summer wedding {with a headpiece, of course}. The designer works with each bride to create a unique wedding dress for their special day.
I found this designer {Samuelle} courtesy of A Cup of Jo, whose author, Joanna, is my resident girl crush.
I think I am officially convinced that should I ever get married, I want a short wedding dress!
ReplyDeleteme too! saw this yesterday and melted. so so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't it amazing? So simple and perfect. I wouldn't mind her hair either.
ReplyDeletei dunnno... when i see this words like "cute" and "darling" come to mind, and I'm just not sure if that's the look I'd want on my wedding day. I actually showed it to Mike (when I was looking at Cup of Jo) and his initial response was, "eh... that looks like a nightgown and her hair reminds me of the bowl cuts my mom used to give us." hahaha... not the response i'd want from him!
ReplyDeletei definitely like the idea of being in a short dress. it's more comfortable, better for dancing, and great for a summertime wedding. But I think I'd personally want something more form-fitting and that will make people (and mike, especially!) say "wow".
ok. enough from me. haha.
hilarious..."happy wedding, like my bowl cut and pjs?"
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm not cute and darling? ;)
ReplyDeleteI hear you though. I'll probably go short, but a little dressier. Who knows?
haha yeah.. mike doesn't really hold back.
ReplyDeleteand yes danielle, you are both cute AND darling!! xoxo
It's not for me, but Danielle, I think something similar to this would be such i nice fit for you! Very 1940s-ish and simple, which would make your beauty the center of attention.
